Since I've been with Volvo Cars for one year now, most of my projects lay within the automotive industry.

However, I have been able to engage and work with different areas and departments, giving me the opportunity to develop a diverse background and eclectic knowledge.

Car Service Experience

When I first joined, I joined the Car Service team (now Car Service Experience) which is the team that takes care of the after-sales of the user journey, diagnostics and troubleshooting of the car, hardware and software.

In order to do so, in Car Service the approach is not solely customer-centric, but takes into consideration the technicians (mobile, on-site or remote technicians, system performing service OTA and battery operators) as much, with them being a key part of the whole process.

Furthermore, to be able to identify the different issues within the vehicles, the technicians can use a wide range of different tools, which surely doesn't make their job easier.

Therefore, within the team the idea was to propose a one-system approach only, preferably VIDA (Vechile Information and Diagnostics for Aftersales), consequently migrating and converging all the other systems in this main one, as well as improving VIDA itself.

Retails Systems

The biggest and longest project I took part in was the process of connecting the Volvo Cars app to the car, in order to use both of them at their full potential and increase the usage of the app within our customers.
